This Privacy Policy explains what information TutorBek (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using TutorBek, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information — your email address and name, provided when you sign up.
Learning content— the problems, text, and photos you submit, your answers, and the progress and “weak spots” we track to personalize your practice.
Usage data — basic technical information such as how you interact with the Service, used to keep it working and secure.
Payment information — handled entirely by Paddle (see below). We do not collect or store your card details.

2. How we use your information

to provide the Service — generating lessons, checking answers, and tracking progress;
to operate your account and apply your plan’s usage limits;
to maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug problems;
to communicate with you about your account or important changes.

3. Service providers we share data with

We use trusted third parties to run TutorBek. They process data only to provide their services to us:

Supabase — database, authentication, and storage of your account and learning content.
OpenAI — processes the problems and work you submit to generate explanations and grade answers.
Paddle — our Merchant of Record, which processes payments and manages subscriptions. Paddle handles your billing details under its own privacy policy.
Vercel — hosting and delivery of the application.
PostHog — product analytics. We use it to understand how the Service is used (for example, which features people use and where they run into trouble) so we can improve it. It records usage events and basic device information tied to your account.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your account and associated learning content. Some records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or security purposes (for example, payment records held by Paddle).

5. Your rights

You can access and update your name from your settings, and you can delete your account at any time, which removes your data from the Service. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or export your data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email abdukhalilov.dev@gmail.com.

6. Children

TutorBek is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live). If you believe a child has provided us personal information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please keep your password confidential.

8. International transfers

Our providers may process your data in countries other than your own. We rely on these providers’ safeguards to protect your information when it is transferred.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date above when we do. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
